The Image Consultation

On arriving at the studio, Jayne and Chris will show their example albums and discuss the sort of ‘look’ you would like for your portraits.

This important first step in creating what are likely to be the most beautiful portraits you’ll ever have taken, is made easier by the use of our specially produced ‘Style Cards'

The term ‘Photogenic Makeovers’ was a considered choice. They could just as easily have been called ‘Cover Girl’ or ‘Hollywood’ makeovers. But this would have suggested a specific style of portrait for a specific type of person.

This photo session is suitable for women of all ages

A makeover by Jayne Birchall is designed to emphasize your most photogenic features. It goes without saying that you’ll be given a near flawless complexion.

The tones and shades will compliment the colour of your hair, your eyes, and the outfits selected for your portraits. Your hair will be styled for the camera. and by the time you emerge from this pampering you will look - and feel - like a million dollars

After the makeover comes the photo shoot in the studio. Most people are apprehensive about being able to pose correctly for the camera. Drawing upon a wealth of experience gained working with professional models, Jayne and Chris will coax and encourage you into exactly the right angles. Careful and creative use of lighting will bring out your most photogenic features. And remember - Chris is yet to photograph his first double chin!

The most enjoyable part in the whole process takes place in our comfortable viewing room a few days after your photo session. Here you will be able to view all of the photographs on our new state-of-the-art digital proofing suite. This will allow you to fully appreciate their beauty and study the fine detail. During this session you will select the pictures for your album collection, or for mounting into fine crafted frames.
